Christmas Light Installation for Your Home

Lazy Reindeer handles residential Christmas light installation from start to finish. We plan a custom design around your roofline, peaks, palms and landscaping using satellite imagery, so your free estimate doesn't require a site visit.

Your display is installed with custom-fit, commercial-grade LEDs, attached with clips — or hot glue on surfaces where clips won't work. We own and maintain the lights, so there's nothing for you to buy, untangle or store.

If a bulb or strand goes dark during the season, we come back and fix it. Takedown begins January 1, and we label and store everything until next year. Want something that stays up year-round instead? See our permanent lighting.

Homeowner questions

Residential Christmas Lighting FAQ

How much does it cost to have Christmas lights installed on my house?

Residential installations start at $900, which is our minimum, and the average home is about $1,500. Larger or more complex displays can range from $5,000 to $8,000. The price covers the lights, design, installation, in-season service, takedown and storage.

Do I have to buy the lights?

No. We own the lights. They're included in your service, and we maintain, remove and store them after each season.

How are the lights attached to my house?

We use clips, or hot glue on surfaces where clips won't work. We choose the method based on your home's surfaces.

When should I book?

As early as you can. The earlier you book, the earlier we can get your lights up, and our schedule fills quickly.

When do you take the lights down?

Takedown is included. It begins January 1 and typically takes about three weeks, so your lights will come down during that window.

Can you help with HOA approval?

Yes. If your community requires approval for holiday lighting, we can help with the HOA approval process.
